CRIME STATS There There have been 377 crimes recorded in the last 14-day period (+75). 215 of the offences recorded are theft and violence against the person. The areas with the highest crime levels are Broad Quay, Canons Road and Broadmead. Friday and Saturday are showing as having more people arrested than any other day of the week.

Arrests have mainly been made for violence, criminal damage, or public order offences. Crime now shows an increase of 4.5% over the last rolling 12 months. There have been 154 ASB incidents recorded which is a slight increase, with the peak time for these reported between 6pm and midnight. ASB recorded is down 9.5% over the last 12 months.

NINE ARRESTS MADE FOLLOWING DISORDER AND STABBINGS OUTSIDE CLIFTON NIGHTCLUB Nine people were arrested following significant disorder in Clifton in the early hours of Sunday 31st October. Police were called to Queens Avenue at 2:45am, with members of the public reporting several people fighting in the street. Officers quickly arrived at the scene. Four males were found to have been stabbed. They were taken to hospital for treatment by paramedics. A fifth male also presented at hospital with a similar injury. They were all discharged from

hospital shortly afterwards and were subsequently arrested on suspicion of public order offences. A further four people were arrested and taken to police custody. A police cordon remained in place for a period whilst officers continued to carry out enquiries at the scene. CCTV checks will be an important part of the investigation.
