SAFETY DURING THE SUMMER HOLIDAYS Last week saw the start of the summer holidays and the arrival of great weather for people to enjoy. Over the next 5 weeks, we will see many people visiting our city for short breaks, holidays and day trips which is brilliant for our economy, and the safety reputation of our city has a key part to play in that. Over the summer there will be daily police patrols to people are safe, including water patrols with the police water unit.

Sadly, each year we see people injured or worse by our waterway. Please be vigilant and call 101 or 999 if you feel someone is in danger or unsafe.
