We are so pleased that your family is part of the BAC learning community - whether you are new to BAC, or are a returning family, we extend a warm welcome to you and your children.
Our leadership, teachers, administration and support staff are committed to providing a smooth transition and a consistent learning experience for each child throughout their time with us, and, above all, we are committed to ensuring that each student learns about and is shown the love of Jesus.
We value a holistic approach to education, and aim to ensure the spiritual, social, and personal development of each student, as well as supporting them as they grow academically.
We trust that your experience at BAC will be a blessing, and thank you for the trust you have placed in us to care for and educate your child.
Sincerely,
Brisbane Adventist College imparts far more than academic knowledge and skill. We foster the whole person— their spiritual, physical, intellectual, and social-emotional development.
At Brisbane Adventist College it is OUR PURPOSE to reveal Jesus in all that we do, and to everyone with whom we interact. Our school exists because we believe in the profound love of Jesus and the hope, peace, and joy that comes from knowing Him, and living with Him and for Him. We want to share this good news in our early learning and school community. We are intentional in everything we do - in our attitudes, words, and actions - and we want to reflect Jesus to our students, young children, families, and the wider community.
It is OUR VISION to be a thriving Christcentered learning community. Our desire is to build a dynamic, nurturing, inclusive school community and to be a lighthouse in our local communityshining for Jesus, and serving with care and excellence. We are committed to working in harmony with our families, churches and communities to build a vibrant culture of excellence.
It is OUR MISSION to enable every student to flourish.
Our belief is that students and young children will truly flourish when their spiritual, mental, physical, and social needs are met. We want to inspire and care holistically for each person - equipping them with the beliefs, values, and skills to live a life of purpose, hope, joy, and peace as a global citizen for Christ.
OUR MOTTO is Everything with God. At BAC, God is at the centre of everything we do. Our Christian values are integrated into our learning and social activities as we strive to shine His light, and instil a Christlike character in our students. We believe in a Creator God who encourages us to go out into His world to care for it, to learn about it, and to learn from it. We invite Him into our lives and into our school daily, as we study what He created.
Based on our motto, our CORE VALUES are:
• INTEGRITY
Choosing to do what is right, regardless of who would know or what others might think or say.
• RESPECT
Practising integrity based on the Creator God’s code leads to the development of a deep sense of self-respect, which in turn leads us to respect others.
• JOY
Joy results from living a life of integrity and respect. Joy is more than happiness, which is generated by external conditions; joy is a deep sense of wellbeing that comes from within and is evidence of the Spirit of God living within us.
How our values and beliefs are lived daily
