will do my best to keep you up to date with the latest goings on in ‘Angela world’ – and any gossip I manage to extract from the celebs will be coming direct to you! If you’re already an avid listener, I thank you; if not… please tune in to my show on Heart radio weekdays from 6:00am with Spence Macdonald, we would love to be putting the rise and shine in your breakfast time! Now first things first – where has 2011 gone? I cannot believe that Christmas is nearly here already! I love the fact that, already, mulled wine and mince pies are on offer in the office, lots of sparkly things surround us and everyone is happy. A big excuse to indulge, I say with a big grin! I chatted with my gorgeous friend Katherine Jenkins recently; we met for lunch at St Davids Hotel in the Welsh capital and while we munched away Katherine told me about her very busy year thus far and also that she would be jetting off to Australia post lunch! Katherine really is a beautiful and lovely person. She says about her new album: ‘This is a return to my roots and the sound people know me for best is back! Folk songs, light classical pieces, music from shows, hymns in English and Welsh. Songs that touch me. It includes an interpretation of the Celtic classic ‘Black is the Colour’, ‘I Dreamed a Dream’ from Les Misérables and a new composition of ‘Ave Maria’. I love it’. Katherine explained how she loves the south to north Wales drive as it is so beautiful. The Welsh coastline has indeed been voted the best place to visit on earth by Lonely Planet, what an accolade. As a Welsh girl born and bred I couldn’t agree more! Katherine is one celebrity who despite her trim figure actually still lives and will eat, I can promise you that. She is a very good cook and does a mean cooked breakfast and a very good roast dinner too. She also has an extremely large jar of chocolates on her living room table and yes I scoffed my way through quite a lot the last time I was there!
