MISSION MARS
Brilliant Labs is pleased to announce our next speaker series with Jayson Myers, CEO of Next Generation Manufacturing Canada (NGen), the industry-led community behind Canada’s most transformative advanced manufacturing projects. Advanced manufacturing is changing how people live, and you could play a leading role in making that happen. From fighting climate change to tackling food insecurity, it means a good career building an even better future.. Join NGen for a discussion on how robotics, artificial intelligence, virtual reality, and other advanced manufacturing is helping to solve some of the world’s challenges
Mission: Mars is back! In this challenge, students will work together to design, engineer, and prototype a Mars rover to complete as many challenges as they wish. Students can code their rovers to gather data from sensors. Each participating class will receive a Mission: Mars rover kit along with guides for how to complete missions. Completed rovers will be mailed back to a central location where students will compete over the internet using live video of their rover and a custom coded web based controller. Registration is limited.

ROBOTZ GOT BRILLIANCE
We deeply value the implication of the UN SDG’s. With the innovation and infrastructure goal, and the aim of attaining inclusive and sustainable industrialization, what can our students create? As superfluous as a fun robotic system can be, for example, a robot that chews gum, we urge you to think of the larger implications of such creations. What are the innovations that can be taken from that robot? We are very excited to provide this challenge to our students and see how they can rise to the challenge.
