SCHOOL MAKER FAIRE New Brunswick was the host of 2 school Maker Faires in May. We held our first one at École Marguerite Bourgeoys, Caraquet where we hosted over 300 young makers who shared their projects. During the event, students and teachers tried hands on sessions, witness a morphing matter demonstration and visited over 50 project displays from different schools. We hosted our 2nd Maker Faire in Millidgeville where students from the Greater Saint John area got to try their hands at soldering while also taking the opportunity to watch bioplastics demonstrations.
