Project Funding

Brilliant Labs supports teachers and organizations working with youth by providing a kick start for cross-curricular problem based learning. These projects aim to promote the use of technology, coding, creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship.

Co-op Placement

We offer virtual high school co-op internship positions! Students can learn skills ranging from 3D printing, graphic design, digital marketing, cyber security, web development and multimedia production. Our team looks forward helping students. Email us!

Inspiration Makers!

Brilliant Labs spotlights projects that not only inspire but also pave the way for innovation. We're pleased to share this Nova Scotia’s "Project Highlight!"

Project Highlight TEACHER: MATTHEW KERNIGHAN AND STEPHANIE CONEY-BORTHWICK SCHOOL: ST. GEORGE ELEMENTARY WHERE: ST. GEROGE, NB This fall, the principal and vice-principal of Saint George Elementary, in collaboration with Brilliant Labs, ignited innovation among their students. They introduced micro:bit Step Counters to foster coding skills, creativity, and a passion for learning. Students paired iPads with micro:bit devices and coded accelerometer changes for their step counters. They also explored creative design, making unique holders for their devices with paper and duct tape.

The students measured stride lengths, estimated steps, and marked Orange Shirt Day with a community walk, honoring the legacy of Phyllis Webstad and emphasizing Truth and Reconciliation. The students' journey exemplified an innovative and empathetic spirit! We can’t wait to see what they do next

Project Highlight TEACHER: VANESSA MARTEL SCHOOL: CLAUDETTE BRADSHAW WHERE: MONCTON, NEW BRUNSWICK Students at Claudette Bradshaw School are pushing the boundaries of innovation with their idea for a natural outdoor playground to solve their recreation problems. Inspired by the principles of circular manufacturing, what will they create? Stay tuned to follow their exciting journey towards a brighter future.
