3 KEY CRITERIA FOR SUCCESSFUL JUNIOR BOARD ENGAGEMENT

JUNIOR BOARD GOALS

Develop a group of young leaders who will serve as advocates for Brighton Center

Give young professionals looking for engagement the opportunity to become civically involved in the community

Help young professionals create a network of other likeminded or like-guided persons

Expand the services of Brighton Center to include a program of professional development for future community leaders

Help the Development Committee raise more funds for the Center

MEMBER BENEFITS

Meet and network with like-minded philanthropic individuals

Connect with professionals from Brighton Center’s staff and board

Interact with Brighton Center customers through events and volunteer activities

Sharpen and grow leadership skills

Opportunity to engage with a member from the Brighton Center leadership team or Board of Directors

Serve a 2-year term and serve on at least one committee

Attend two key annual events organized and executed by the Junior Board (e.g. fundraising and volunteer)

Attend one additional volunteer event in addition to the flagship volunteer event hosted by the Junior Board each year

Contribute (via fundraising or personal contribution) $100 per year

Commit to attending meetings and participating in events hosted by Brighton Center or the Junior Board

BRIGHTON CENTER’S IMPACT

During our last fiscal year, we impacted the lives of 24,986 individuals, from infants to older adults, across all 8 counties of Northern Kentucky and beyond. We provide a community of support through 8 areas of impact and our 45 programs.

Pop-Up Opportunities

You can schedule a time to volunteer any time of year. The first half of the year is a great time to volunteer or gather a group to volunteer. From planning a Valentines Day party, to hosting a social event for kids, teens or seniors, to getting outside to beautify one of Brighton Center’s properties…there are many ways to engage and support Brighton Center’s mission.
