What is NEXT exam for MBBS pattern?

The NEET-PG and MCI Screening exams will be replaced as the final step in the medical school admissions process by a single exam called NEXT (National Exit test for MBBS) (FMGE: Foreign Medical Graduate Examination). It will be implemented beginning in 2022. This exam will be required of graduates of medical schools in India and abroad. Students who pass the NEXT exit exam will be able to begin internships. Post-graduate (MD, MS, DNB, and diploma) seats in India's government and private medical colleges will also be allocated based on NEXT exam results (rank). NEXT MBBS exam pattern NEXT will be divided into two parts: theory (NEXT-1) and practise (NEXT-2) (NEXT-2). Multiple-choice questions will be used to assess theoretical knowledge (MCQs). NEXT-1 will be held after the final year of MBBS and before the internship. After completing NEXT-1, students will begin internships. Those who pass the theory (NEXT-1) test must then pass the practical (NEXT-2) test at the end of their internship. Because of your NEXT-1 score, you will be able to apply for a PG seat after your internship. Consider the diagram below to better understand the strategy for the national exit test syllabus. The NEXT-2 examination will be pass/fail. The grades you receive in NEXT-2 have no bearing on how many PG seats you receive. As a result, NEXT-1 will function as both a qualification and a competition test.

Neither the NMC, the NBE, nor the NTA have made an official announcement about the NEXT question paper pattern as of yet (National Testing Agency)
