For over twenty years now, we've been growing steadily as an independent illustration and literary agency, proudly representing some of the world's most talented, awardwinning authors and illustrators. We handle all the rights related to our creators' work, quite a few of whom are both authors and illustrators. It's their highly acclaimed and popular content that has touched hearts globally, with our books finding homes in as many as 40 territories.

We’re creatives, too, and this allows us to breathe life into our lovable characters and their rich, absorbing storylines. You will recognise some of them from TV shows that started out as books from our collection.

The ‘dopamine’ trend sweeping the worlds of fashion, cinema, music and art is characterised by work that aims to stimulate the brain’s pleasure centers, eliciting feelings of excitement, happiness and satisfaction.

Often, this means brighter colours, dynamic compositions and playful imagery. This trend is all about positive messaging and acts as an uplifting force promoting optimism, well -being, and good old-fashioned fun.

The Western trend has arrived and it’s really beginning to kick into top gear. Blending elements of typical Western Cowboy iconography with modern influences this trend is reimagining the cowboy archetype through a contemporary lens and it’s set to be one of the biggest trends of the next couple of years. Think Beyonce’s latest drop, Texas Hold ‘Em or Lana Del Rey’s upcoming country album Lasso. Think Margot Robbie donning a cowboy hat in 2023’s summer smash hit movie Barbie.

We’re seeing an uptick in requests for pieces that deconstruct and reimagine the traditional. Breathing new life into established artistic conventions by infusing them with fresh perspectives and contemporary themes. Artists are encouraged to push boundaries and experiment with compositions while nodding to conventional subject matters and tapping into what it is that gives traditional themes their longevity.

Blanding is over. There, we said it! Emerging with force as a pushback against the pervasive minimalism of the last decade or so, we’re seeing a resurgent enthusiasm for art that embraces abundance, extravagance, and vibrancy.

Utilising bold colours and patterns, luxurious materials and textures and with an emphasis on detail and experimentation, we’re so excited to see what this trend helps bring into the world. More is more and don’t be afraid to indulge.
