hey kiwins! welcome to my first newsletter of the term! im super excited to be here this term with our new board. with us going back to in-person events i hope to see all you and get to know you guys better! i hope to see some of you guys this summer and hopefully during the school year too! keep an eye out for more newsletters and until then i hope you all stay cool during the summer heat!

meet exec roger nguyen - president hewwo kiwis! my name is roger and i’m your 2021-2022 FV KIWIN’S president! a little bit about myself: i’m an incoming senior, i am (unfortunately) a theatre kid, i DESPISE seafood, and i love meeting new people!!! KIWIN’S has given me so many amazing experiences, a plethora of opportunities, and a huge passion for giving back to our community. my biggest goal is that you all feel that same drive to serve as well! i can’t WAIT to see your faces, whether it be at our upcoming events or at our meetings (´,,•ω•,,) don’t hesitate to contact me if you ever want to talk (ig is probably the easiest my handle is @roger_nguy) i’ll probably be awake at ungodly hours of the night so don’t worry about that HAHAHA :’D i hope you are all just as excited about this term as i am! love y’all <3

natalie vu - vice president hi hi kiwis my name is Natalie Vu and I’m your ‘21 - ‘22 vice president. I’ve been part of the FV KIWIN’S ohana since my freshie year and I’m truly grateful for the unforgettable memories and bonds I was able to make with the people I met while being in the club. As Vice president, I hope to do the same for all of you and future members during this term. I have a K drama addiction and need recs to prevent summer boredom so hmu @nataliek.vu on insta if you have any for me. ily kiwis <3

nisheille esposo - treasurer hi kiwi babes, my name is nisheille esposo(any pronouns), and i’m happy to be serving as your club treasurer for this term! to those of you who don’t already know me, i am an upcoming senior, and i really, really, REALLY love coffee! i also like photography(hehe i’m our div’s media corr and our club’s ip historian) and cats, and i’m also obsessed with edinburgh university. i can’t wait to start getting to know you cuties better now that we have in-person events! hehe follow me on instagram @nisheillee for free swag :DD

cutive board anneliese duong - recording secretary hey friends! i’m anneliese duong and i’m excited to be serving as your 2021-2022 recording secretary. i’m currently a sophomore and an upcoming junior (scary!). i joined KIWIN’S my freshman year and the club has fueled my passion to serve the community and you all. i’m on the girls’ tennis team, a writer and photographer for the school newspaper, and i LOVE poke and boba (especially from sunright or omomo) so you can always invite me to go ;) i spend my free time eating mcdonald’s ice cream and watching k-dramas and anime. as we return back to in-person events, i’m beyond ecstatic to see you guys. i love meeting new people so don’t be afraid to talk to me! follow me on instagram @anneliese.duuong :))

brian pham - corresponding secretary hi guys im brian pham and im serving as your 21-22 corresponding secretary! im an upcoming senior and ive been in kiwins since my freshemn year and since then i have had plenty of fun expeirences and met a bunch of new people. i was tech chair last term and this year im also serving as jet co-bulletin editor! outside of kiwins in involved in baron banner and ve! you can usually find me awake very late at night if you need me. i spend a lot of free time napping but when im not napping i like manga/anime and video games! feel free to talk to me at events and follow me on instagram @briianpham if you need anything!

meet appo sydnie sabbarese - committees chair heya kiwis!! my name is sydnie and i’m SUPER EXCITED to serve as fv KIWIN’S committees chair for the 2021-2022 term :DD i look forward to being able to meet all of our amazing members and work with our future committees :)) (summer comm will prob be announced by the time this is published so hi guys hehe <33) outside of KIWIN’S, you’ll be able to find me at events for fv girls’ league and fv make-a-wish or taking pics/ writing articles for baron banner and yearbook :00 outside of school, i enjoy drawing, gardening (fun fact-i can only grow outdoor plants, i’ve killed every indoor plant i’ve had ) and scrolling through tiktok :,) i’m currently really into jujutsu kaisen as well so hmu if u wanna see the movie when it eventually comes out B)) oh and if u have any recommendations for music, shows, etc PLS TELL ME LOL anyway shameless plug y’all should follow me on insta :pp @ssabbarese_

angelina nguyen - activites/spirit chair hihihi everyone <33 !!! my name is angelina nguyen and i’m one of your 2021-2022 spirit/activities chairs. i’ve been in KIWIN’S for one year, so i’m a current freshman going into sophomore year. what initially lured me into this club was the all-around vibe, the fun events KIWIN’s has to offer, and that everyone is like a family. my entire freshman year was virtual due to COVID :( , so it was difficult for me to get the real experience of KIWIN’S, but i am excited to do so during this term since things are beginning to go back to normal now! some of my hobbies include being a pro tennis player, hanging out with my demonic chihuahua, literally being THE gordon ramsay, and being a pro napper (i can take up to 6 hours naps :0 LOL). if you ever wanna talk, feel free to follow me on insta @anngelinanguyen or you can talk to me at events too!!! i’m really excited to meet everyone!!! :D

noelle nguyen - activities/spirit chair hii my name is noelle! I’m a upcoming junior. I’m excited to meet and see new faces next year! In my free time I enjoy watching anime, and I love boba <3

ointed board jadyn than - publicist hey hey kiwis! my name is jadyn than and i’ll be your 20212022 publicist :P i am an upcoming junior :’) and have been in KIWIN’s since freshman year. i have been able to make SO MANY memories and have experienced so much in this club; and i am beyond excited to be apart of this term with all of you ❤︎ hehe i love playing with my two doggies, shortie and mr. pogophamy, and will never turn down a lil boba getaway •-• i enjoy binge eating and am a BIG BIG marvel fan... so if y’all wanna watch a marvel movie, don’t be afraid to hmu :) ANYYYWAYS, i hope you’re as excited as i am for this term! don’t be afraid to dm me about anything @jadynthan on ig! For those that don’t know me, I am an upcoming senior even though I don’t feel like a senior at all… BUT I AM SO EXCITED TO SPEND MY LAST YEAR OF HIGH SCHOOL WITH ALL OF YOU!
