NATASHA PAREMSKI We welcome dazzling pianist Natasha Paremski for a performance of Beethoven’s epic Emperor Concerto on January 13th.

KING CENTER FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS This year marks the fifth anniversary of our Cultural Arts Showcase featuring the Harry & Wendy Brandon Family Concert. Since its creation, CAS has brought the magic and excitement of the performing arts to our entire community. This one-day performing arts festival will include more performances, displays and interactive activities for arts enthusiasts of all ages than ever before!

With so much to see and do, this year’s showcase will surely create lasting memories for the entire family!

We welcome back phenomenal violinist Paul Huang for a performance of the greatest American concerto for violin, the Violin Concerto by Samuel Barber on March 3rd.

BHARAT CHANDRA On April 14th, hear one of the most glorious concertos ever written, the Mozart Clarinet Concerto, featuring clarinetist Bharat Chandra.

MOVIE NIGHT: CHARLIE CHAPLIN’S CITY LIGHTS The BSO performs the live soundtrack to the 1931 romantic comedy City Lights, written, directed, and starring Charlie Chaplin. The silent film will be shown in its entirety on a screen above the orchestra.

CITY LIGHTS SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 4, 2017 :: 8PM KING CENTER FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS A Night At The Movies With Your Symphony!

In November, we are proud to feature a full-length screening of Charlie Chaplin’s silent romantic comedy City Lights with the score performed LIVE by the BSO. Along with writing, directing, producing and starring in, Chaplin himself wrote the music to the film. Hailed by audiences as an absolute masterpiece, City Lights is widely regarded as one of the greatest films ever made.

This is a Brevard County FIRST - a feature film with live orchestral accompaniment.

For over 30 years, our administrative offices have been located in a building known as the Winchester Symphony House. Built in 1886, the building is listed as a Historical Site for Brevard County and the State of Florida. The “Old Gal,� as we lovingly call her, is in need of extensive renovation and some TLC including major structural repair.
