Smart SMART-CUT S/NC 550

t-Cut SMART-CUT S/NC 550 è un centro di taglio a controllo numerico ad assi interpolati, dotato di testa girevole e banco fisso, che consente di effettuare molteplici lavorazioni che altrimenti richiederebbero più macchine, quali: taglio lastre, sagomatura masselli, scavo masselli, incisioni di scritte, forature..., utilizzando il disco diamantato o i foretti.

Il banco è dotato a richiesta di pianale basculante, e nella versione S/NC 550B il banco è dotato di nastro trasportatore motorizzato così da automatizzare le operazioni di carico e scarico.

SMART-CUT S/NC 550 is an interpolated axis NC cutting and profiling machining centre. It is equipped with twist head and fixed worktable and is designed to offer multiple machining operations which would otherwise require several different machines. Machining operations include: slab cutting, block profiling, recess machining, engraving, drilling, etc., using a diamond disc or drilling tools.

Upon specific request, the bench can be supplied with a tilt-top. Model S/NC 550B, part of this range of machining centres, comes supplied with a motorized conveyor belt for facilitating workpiece loading and unloading operations.

Esecuzione manuale di singoli tagli

Taglio “in manuale” di rettangoli o poligoni

La gestione macchina in modalità manuale è semplicissima, veloce ed intuitiva, accessibile anche ad operatori inesperti e senza alcuna conoscenza dell’elettronica. L’operatore deve semplicemente posizionare il disco ad inizio taglio e premere il pulsante di "Start Taglio": la macchina eseguirà automaticamente il taglio, seguendo la direzione del disco, fino al limite massimo della corsa. L’operatore può intervenire su questo limite in qualsiasi momento premendo il pulsante di "Stop Taglio".

L’esecuzione in manuale di singoli tagli e/o pezzi è semplice, veloce ed intuitiva, avvalendosi dell’utilizzo di "Macro" (pezzi tipici le cui dimensioni possono essere variate a piacere).

Il posizionamento e l’orientamento dei pezzi può essere eseguito sia sfruttando gli assi della macchina sia posizionando direttamente a video il pezzo da realizzare. Questa operazione diventa ancora più intuitiva se la macchina è dotata dell’accessorio codice FOTO2035 (in macchina) perché si utilizza direttamente l’immagine della lastra.

Manual execution of single cuts

Manual cutting of rectangular or polygonal pieces

The machine operating in manual mode is very simple, rapid, intuitive and easy to approach even for non-experienced operators which have no knowledge in electronics. The operator is simply required to place the disc exactly where the cut has to start and press the "Start Cutting" push-button: the machine will execute the cut automatically following the direction of the disc up to its maximum travel. The operator may adjust such a limit by pressing the "Stop Cutting" push-button whenever he wants.

The manual execution of single cuts and/or pieces is very simple, rapid and intuitive thanks to the use of "macros" (typical pieces whose dimensions can be changed at will). The piece positioning and orientation can be executed either through the machine's axes, or by directly positioning the piece to be machined on the video.

This operation becomes still easier if the machine is equipped with the accessory "FOTO2035" (installed on the machine) allowing to use directly the slab image.

t-Cut Taglio “in automaticoâ€? di poligoni In tale modalitĂ , la macchina taglia in ciclo automatico la lastra in forme poligonali. I poligoni da ottenere possono essere disegnati a video o importati da files .DXF.

Automatic cutting of polygonal pieces In this mode, the machine cuts the slabs into polygonal pieces in a fully automated cycle. Polygonal pieces to be produced can be either drawn on the video or imported from .DXF files.

Smart Espansione software “ottimizzazione dello sfruttamento della superficie della lastra” e gestione ordini

Tale modalità consente il caricamento degli ordini sull'unità di gestione della macchina e la definizione delle quantità di pezzi da evadere per ogni formato. Permette quindi di ottimizzare in automatico lo sfruttamento della superficie della lastra. Se la macchina è completa della fotocamera digitale, sul video touchscreen viene riprodotta l’immagine fedele della lastra da processare, altrimenti la forma poligonale semplificata della lastra deve essere disegnata sul video touch-screen con l’editor della macchina, oppure venire “acquisita” utilizzando il tracciatore laser. Gli eventuali difetti della lastra visualizzati dalla fotocamera digitale o, in mancanza della stessa, delimitati con il tracciatore laser, vengono ovviamente esclusi dall’area utile di taglio. L’ottimizzazione è possibile sia per rettangoli che per poligoni. Il video propone all’operatore uno schema di ottimizzazione che l’operatore può accettare oppure variare “spostando e riposizionando” sul video le sagome all’interno del perimetro di taglio.

Expansion software for "order management and optimization of the slab surface" This mode allows to both load the orders in the machine control unit and preset the quantity of pieces to be produced for each format, therefore it is possible to automatically optimize the utilization of the slab surface. If the machine is equipped with the digital camera, the true image of the slab to be processed is reproduced on the touch-screen, otherwise the slab simplified polygonal shape must be drawn on the touch-screen using the machine editor program, or it may be acquired by the laser tracer. Any possible slab defect displayed by the digital camera or, failing that, traced by the laser tracer, is obviously excluded from the useful cutting area.

This type of optimization is possible for both rectangular and polygonal pieces.

The operator can either accept the optimization grid proposed on the video, or he can change it by simply “moving and repositioning” the templates inside the cutting perimeter.

t-Cut Espansione software “sagomatura di masselli secondo geometrie complesse” Questa espansione software consente di sagomare masselli con lavorazione a «pettine» verticale o orizzontale con disco diamantato secondo superfici di geometria complessa.

La forma del profilo da realizzare viene definita in macchina con l’utilizzo del CAD semplificato fornito a corredo, oppure importata da un computer esterno.

La forma del massello da sagomare e la sagomatura dello stesso vengono visualizzati sul video touch-screen.

Grazie alla possibilità di effettuare la lavorazione in interpolazione sugli assi, si possono ottenere anche pezzi di forma complessa nello spazio. (OPTIONAL)

Expansion software for “profiling billets according to geometrically complex shapes” This expansion software enables to profile billets utilizing a vertical or horizontal “comb” technique with diamond saw blade, according to geometrically complex surfaces.

The shape of the profile to be obtained is directly programmed on the machine utilizing a simplified CAD program (fitting out the machine), or it may be imported from a remote PC. The shape of the billet to be profiled and its shaping are displayed on the “touch-screen” monitor. Since the machine can operate with interpolated axes, it is possible to create pieces with complex spatial shapes as well.

Smart Breton Touch – l’interfaccia utente che tutti aspettavano Breton Touch è l’interfaccia utente per gestire le App che permettono al tecnologo del marmo di lavorare prodotti da lastra.

Breton Touch è installato a bordo macchina, in una consolle con video a colori multi-touch e permette di programmare direttamente le lavorazioni in modo semplice e intuitivo.

L’utente è guidato nel proprio lavoro perché le App descrivono passo-passo le fasi di sviluppo del prodotto dal disegno alla lavorazione.

“Slab Editor” è l’app che, controllando la fotocamera installata a bordo macchina, permette di acquisire l’immagine della lastra, disegnarne perimetro e difetti semplicemente tracciandoli con il dito sullo schermo multi touch. La lastra sarà salvata in un database che conterrà tutta la sua storia: a quale commessa è stata assegnata, quali sono i pezzi realizzati, la sua classificazione….

Anche in assenza della fotocamera è possibile comunque definire

l’area utile inserendo le misure rilevate.

Una volta definita la lastra, l’app “Cut Scheme” è in grado di organizzare al meglio lo schema di taglio tramite il nesting automatico oppure inserendo manualmente, con un semplice tocco delle dita, i pezzi che possono essere spostati, ruotati, agganciati ad altri pezzi grazie allo snap automatico.

A questo punto lo schema così composto viene analizzato e ottimizzato automaticamente. L’app “Cut Move Editor” calcola la sequenza di taglio e le movimentazioni necessarie alla sua realizzazione. Controlla le ventose della cuffia, attivando soltanto quelle necessarie a una presa sicura e precisa della sagoma.

L’utente più esigente può modificare la sequenza di taglio e le relative movimentazioni, trascinando con le dita porzioni di lastra o selezionando i tagli da eseguire, come se la macchina diventasse un’estensione della propria mano.

Breton Touch, the user interface everyone was waiting for Breton Touch is the user interface for managing the Apps that enable the marble technologist to process slab products.

Breton Touch is installed on the machine, in a control panel with multi-touch colour monitor, and allows to program straight away the machining operations in a simple and intuitive way.

Users are guided throughout their work since the Apps describe step by step the different development stages of the product, from drawing to processing.

"Slab Editor" is the App that, controlling the digital camera installed on the machine, enables to acquire the slab image and draw its perimeter and defects by simply finger touching them on

the multi-touch monitor. The slab is saved in a database containing its whole story: to which job order the slab is assigned, which are the pieces produced, what is the slab classification, etc.

Even lacking the digital camera, it is however possible to define the slab useful area by entering the detected dimensions.

Once the slab parameters are defined, the "Cut Scheme" App arranges the cutting scheme in the best possible way either through the automatic nesting or manually entering with a simple finger touch the pieces which can be moved , rotated or coupled with other pieces thanks to the automatic snap.

The most demanding user can also modify the cutting sequence and relevant handling operations by finger dragging portions of slab or selecting the cuts required as if the machine was an extension of his hand. With the "Shape Editor" App it's finally possible to draw using just a finger; this App is a multi-touch CAD installed on the machine and is used to import files, draw templates and design tops by

means of practical parametric shapes.

“Slab Selector” is an intuitive and simple to use App for managing the slab database and preview, search and select the slab photos.

“DB Orders” is the App for managing the order database; here it is possible to see which are the pieces to produce and the required materials, and select the slabs to be used.
