Grand jury Rico’s moment releases report on R fire district by Kyle Szymanski Staff Writer
A recently released Contra Costa County Grand Jury report concluded that the East Contra Costa Fire Protection District needs to open additional stations to provide adequate protection and recommends changes to tackle the district’s funding crisis. Local talent stars in theater production Discovery Bay thespians, Haley Finetti and her dad, Chris Finetti, will appear in the upcoming Broadway Repertory Theater production of “Seven Brides for Seven Brothers.” The performances will be featured at two venues this month – the El Campanil Theatre in Antioch and The Lesher Center for the Arts in Walnut Creek. The plays feature local East County talent and bring to a close the theater’s inaugural season . “I’m really looking forward to this show, not only because I love performing, but also because I’ll be sharing the stage with a wonderful cast, including my daughter, Hayley (Sarah), who will be heading off to Chico State in August,” said Chris, who plays Benjamin Pontipee. “I’ll soon be
