Welcome to year 11 We are delighted to lead Year 11 and as you move through what is an incredibly important year we are looking forward to seeing all of you make progression as you enter 2017 and your final GCSE exams. I know you will all welcome the support you will receive throughout the course of the academic year, from after school intervention and revision classes, to Saturday and half-term additional sessions.

We also have five wonderful tutors in the Year 11 team, who will give you the support you need to work hard and to make a success of the next academic year.

We look forward to seeing you open the results envelope in August 2017.

In order for you to maximise your potential, it is important that you co-operate with both your subject teachers, tutor and with us, your Head of Year team, so we can all work together and celebrate the results we are all expecting.

Look carefully at your target grades for each subject area. Discuss with your teachers how to achieve these levels. Ensure you have 100% attendance and punctuality throughout the year and focus on learning and you will have a successful year.
