Were new Production Techniques good or bad for the Workers? New production techniques are good for the workers because the company Ford was able to hire unskilled workers to do a simple task over and over again in order for them to make a living for themselves.

Skilled workers had a burden taken off of them because they didn’t have to build a car themselves anymore and it cheapened and increased the production of a car.

This was also an opportunity to start a union but Ford had given the workers more than twice the market wages to keep them from leaving the company.

Child Labor Laws: Was it working or not in the twenties.

After WWI, the United States had a blot on it’s landscape was the excessive or continued employment of children under eighteen. Laws were made to regulate and control the employment of young people under eighteen which is known as “Child labour laws”. Child Labor is the employment of children under the age of eighteen to do laborious work in industries, factories and farms.Child labour laws in the twenties weren’t constantly not effective in working places because of owners did not concede control and worked with the U.S Supreme Court,Reformers tried to focus their efforts on congress to pass out a law to forbid children from doing laborious work and exploitation.

Get to work, kids!

One reason of child labour laws not effective in place working is that owners did not concede control and worked with the U.S Supreme Court to take down the law. Congress first passed a law concerning child labor, the U.S Supreme Court agreed with owners and struck down the law down. Again Congress passed a similar law in 1919 in hopes that the public’s thoughts about child labor had changed or was changing but again owners worked with the Supreme Court and struck down the law unconstitutional. By 1924 most members of the Senate and the House of Representative wanted action but still more than one million kids all over the country working. Later on Congress passed an amendment to the constitution giving the federal government the power to limit work done by children under age of eighteen which ended up a failure as people did not concede control.

Another reason of child labor laws not effective in place working is that reformers tried to focus their efforts to pass a law to forbid children from doing laborious work all over the country. In 1924 Congress passed an amendment that would authorize or monitor a child labour law.Reformers demonstrated, they gave speeches and paid attention to congress to pass a law to stop children from working. After several efforts, congress heeded to their efforts and made or establish child labor law which was struck down by the Supreme Court who had come to agreement with owners of children laborers. Child labor in the twenties was effective and rampant in almost all states all over the country but the laws made were not working.

Exploitation of child labor is my last reason of child laws not effective in place working.According to the National Child Labor Commission by 1924 the number of children working all over the the country had risen to two million.Although a number of northern states had abolished child labor it is like it did not affect the the number rates of child labor, efforts made to gain children the protection of federal legislation against exploitation came to nothing and yielded no improvements or solution. The amendments made in 1924 made to regulate and control the employment of people under eighteen failed, did not work and people did not heed or obeyed it but worked to remove it through the help of the Supreme Court who declared it unconstitutional and succeeded and continued to exploit children working working under them

Child labor is the employment of children under the age of eighteen to do laborious work in industries, factories and on farms. Child labor laws weren’t constantly effective because of the reasons listed above.Although efforts were made to make a law that will control the employment of children under eighteen which was successful in a short period of time because the supreme court worked with owners of child laborers and struck down the law several times. However in the nearby future Child labor will start to disappear only during the Great Depression, when life becomes more difficult to survive, when adults find jobs and many may take the job of an errand boy therefore putting children out of jobs. A law will be made to regulate the employment of children under the age of eighteen which the people will concede to and will not strike down ending child labor

With industry booming, how are farmers doing? Farmers are falling out of business, because of the people un-wanting to buy cotton anymore. Cotton is not as popular as it was, because there was a new technology released. The farmers stopped what they were doing and started to look for other jobs. Also because the average income of farmers has been decreased.

New industries are now using rayon for fabric more that cotton. Farmers are planning to turn an old house into a church for the people to donate supplies. So the farmers can take it to use and make a job out of it, and to return there job again. Most farmers are losing jobs. so that leads them to receiving low and average incomes. They find it really hard to look for other jobs the farmers are struggling to find jobs that easy.

America in the 20th century, they helped enact the farmers loan act of 1923 to ease the replacement schedules on there farm loan. In 1924, two exclusive for a plow company proposed to the farm bloc an idea. Farmers became desperate from them staying behind on their job, americans also find sneaky way to tap into legal liquor supplies. There trying to get there jobs working like how they first began there jobs. Farmers are also losing their lands because of the failing in their jobs.

The average of farmers are going down and new technology has been released. Then the farmers get new jobs they will have good incomes. That way farmers, workers and other people's lives will get more easier. It will help their countries. Lots of things this way in the future will change and be better than it was before. Farmers will
