goal of this project was to create a pandemic pavilion that could be used to house guests of students sick with and provide an isolation area for them. We also needed this building to be used in the future as well once the pandemic is over. The main goal of this place was wellness. Wellness would be created through the separation of and lots of natural light. The building is separated into three main areas, the entrance area with check-in and reception to receive people and get them into the space. The next level is the community space where different ac tivities and things can be had and there was a large outdoor deck that is separate from Marvin Grove while allowing staying to experience the outdoors and then for future events be an outdoor gathering space. The final level series of private suite rooms that can allow for as much private activity and rest as the guest needs. The terraced of the building mimics the steep slope of the grove and allows for it to stay close to the topography and interact the area.

The supports that hold the bridge and visually connect the bridge to the water are meant to look like the water coming up and encapsulating the structure. The space would encourage human interaction and is accessi ble for everyone to experience it in as many ways as they wish.
For this project, we were to create either a bridge or observation tower that would allow for different multipurpose spaces that would work with the surrounding Lawrence community. I decided to go with a bridge and have different exposition spaces that would be used to showcase local sculptures or art or have it be an educational experience to teach locals about the outdoors and nature. I decided to go with a very fluid shape that goes up and down with multiple pathways available to mimic the freeform of the Kansas River below.

mess. Using hologram technology means that ceramics can be more accessible to craft without dedicating a lot of time and money. Having it be in a portable setup exposed to art and tap into their creative side. Pop Up Shops offer a unique experience to rather than the other way around. This takes away some of the creative freedoms of unique but still transportable booths this helps both the seller and buyer experience.

Creating spaces that foster Human Interaction and a Sense of Community makes architecture more than a building, but a social experience that will drive people to the project as well as promise their return. Being able to experience the outdoors and see a small part of the production process connects visitors with the goods they purchase. Food has always been a central part of human society and interaction and having a space that provides creates a unique relationship with food that resonates with all age groups.
