Reflecting on the past six months, we’ve seen firsthand how Australia has solidified itself as a world leader in beef production. The universal passion for cattle, the importance of adapting to diverse environments, and the critical role that advanced genetics and data now play in driving the industry forward, has become even more apparent. These insights guide our selection of sires, ensuring they are equipped to meet the demands of a rapidly evolving market and industry.
Despite challenges during the Autumn 2024 season across much of southern and western Australia, forward-thinking cattle producers continued to harness the advantages of superior genetics, driving their operations forward. While market conditions have been challenging at times, there is a growing case for optimism as we approach the next 6 to 12 months. With cattle prices stabilising after the 2023 downturn, and a notable upswing is projected well into 2025, our sires are ready to deliver the genetic edge needed to maximize productivity and profitability in the times ahead.
Global beef production is rising, trade flows are shifting, and Australia stands at the forefront of it all with our breeders leading in genetic advancements through meticulous phenotype recording and analysis. With regulatory changes in the EU creating new opportunities for Australian genetics, the importance of a well-defined breeding program has never been more evident.
The future holds significant potential, but realising it will require
embracing technology, sustainability, and a continued focus on delivering superior outcomes for our clients. Our sires, shaped by global insights and experiences, are prepared to address the constant evolving demands of beef production. As we enter the Spring 2024 season, our mission remains clear: For Breeders, By Breeders.

RESEARCH BREEDING VALUES
Research Breeding Values can be utilised in exactly the same manner as EBVs. They are subject to greater potential change than the EBVs routinely reported in the TACE analysis, as improvements are made to the analytical models that are used to calculate them, and as additional performance information is collected for the trait. Research Breeding Values should consequently be used with some caution when making animal selection decisions.
