PRESIDENT’S OFFICE MICHAEL FOX ’83, NEW BOARD MEMBER After graduating from Brebeuf Jesuit, Michael Fox ’83 went on to major in economics at Indiana University and worked in the construction and real estate development field for more than 27 years. He is the current president of Buckingham Construction Corporation and has been critically involved in the construction and development of over $800 million of commercial, industrial, office, medical, and housing facilities throughout the Midwest. Mike is active in the community as a member or in a board capacity with the following: Metropolitan Indianapolis Coalition for Construction Safety, United States Green Building Council, Indiana Subcontractors Association, International Center for Shopping Centers, Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory School Buildings and Grounds Committee, and the Indiana Construction Roundtable. Mike has also served on the boards for Young Entrepreneurs Organization, St. Luke Catholic School, and Lambda Corporation of the Sigma Chi Fraternity, in addition to many others. Mike actively volunteers with Shepherd Community Center and Miracle Place, and has coached youth basketball, softball and soccer at First Baptist Athletics and St. Luke Catholic School. He and his wife, Krista, have enjoyed supporting their daughters, Reagan ’14, Madeline ’16, and Molly ’19, during their studies at Brebeuf.

WENDY (SUTTON) HORN ’79, NEW BOARD MEMBER After graduating from Brebeuf Jesuit, Wendy (Sutton) Horn ’79 obtained her Bachelor of Arts from Denison University and her Master of Health and Business Administration from Indiana University. Wendy is a business development executive and entrepreneur with a passion for start-ups, growth and turn-around opportunities. She and her husband started the Stratford Companies, developing high quality senior living communities. Wendy currently heads up business development for Visionary Enterprises, Inc. (VEI), a subsidiary of Community Health Network, and serves on the Network’s senior leadership team to drive strategic growth. In her community, Wendy currently serves on the boards for Junior Achievement of Central Indiana and Goodwill Goodsource. She also serves as Vice President of the Village of WestClay’s Home Owner’s Association (HOA). Wendy and her family were also very active in the grassroots campaign to elect Susan Brooks as the District 5 Congressional Representative in 2012-2013. Although Wendy has worked and lived around the country, she currently resides in Carmel, Ind., with her husband, Richard, and son, Mitchell ’16.
BETSY LASKEY, NEW BOARD MEMBER Betsy Laskey earned her bachelor’s degree in economics from DePauw University and early in her career served as a financial analyst for Daseke Properties in Westport, Conn., and as Manager of Corporate Development for the Pan American Games in Indianapolis. In more recent years, she has served as a Guild Board Officer for the Children’s Museum of Indianapolis, supported her sorority Pi Beta Phi, and served from 2002-2010 with the Brebeuf Jesuit Mothers Association, acting as president in 2007-2008 and as chair for the Interfaith Prayer group in 2008-2009. She enjoys volunteering for St. Christopher’s Episcopal Church and chairing events for the Fair Haven Foundation and Carmel Clay Public Library Guild. Betsy is married to Thomas Laskey and is proud of her three Brebeuf alumni: Jack ’06, Hannah ’08, and Peter ’10. FR.
