ABOUT CAMPUS
Brebeuf Bistro Carafes & Canvas With over 450 attendees, Brebeuf Bistro – Carafes & Canvas, Brebeuf Jesuit’s largest annual fundraiser, was once again a delightful evening of mingling with fellow Brebeuf parents and alumni, silent and live auctions, entertainment, and delicious food. With a theme of Carafes & Canvas, the 2016 Bistro held on Saturday, February 27, was an event that will go down in Brebeuf history. For the first time, the event was held off-site, at the Indianapolis Museum of Art. Live and silent auctions allowed attendees to use their own smart devices to bid on exciting experience packages and unique items. In Bistro’s 22nd year, attendees enjoyed tasting over 22 bourbons and wines, purchased raffle tickets to win a new car, and watched a speed painting performance by Dan Dunn’s PaintJam, all while benefiting Brebeuf Jesuit. From Brebeuf student artwork to sports memorabilia and even a puppy, there was something for everyone to enjoy at the auctions. Special guest emcee Chris Widlic, Sports Anchor and Reporter at WISH-TV, kicked off the live auction portion of the evening. The event was filled with so many special moments to benefit Brebeuf Jesuit students. Every Bistro event’s proceeds directly benefit the needs of the student body at Brebeuf Jesuit through support for financial aid via The Brebeuf Fund, and through enrichment support for student programming and instructional grants. This year’s Brebeuf Bistro – Carafes & Canvas was a great evening to celebrate friends, family, and Brebeuf Jesuit! Brebeuf is excited for everyone to attend Brebeuf Bistro 2017 which will unveil a brand new theme this fall! 2
