A Nurse Aide is one of the most important roles in the health care team. Nurse Aide training is a great way to start a career ladder in other healthcare professions, such as nursing. Nurse Aides learn to provide care for hospital patients, residents in their home, nursing homes and assisted living facilities. Graduates are eligible to take the NNAAP exam required by the Virginia Board of Nursing. This course meets the Virginia Board of Nursing’s requirement for Nurse Aide Training in Virginia.
Learn to properly administer Electrocardiograms (EKG’s), resolve artifacts and record and interpret EKG’s. Expand your skills and earning potential with an EKG Technician certification. Learn to properly administer Electrocardiograms (EKG’s), resolve artifacts and record EKG’s. Students will learn heart anatomy, physiology, conduction and to recognize and interpret heart rhythms. Successful completion of this program will prepare students to sit for the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) EKG Technician Certification (CET) exam.
