2023 Council of the Americas Symposium & 28 th
Over the past year, Latin America has worked to steady the tide of slow economic growth and political uncertainty, setting the stage for a cautiously optimistic 2024. The combination of economic policies that look towards increasing social inclusion, reducing poverty, and creating work opportunities for a young population hungry to step into a new future, with a changing political landscape, has leaders open to investment development and increasing jobs within new and exciting fields such as sustainability, technology and innovation.
However, as the dynamics of the business world are evolving faster than ever before, it is vital that Latin America, a land of such immense potential and diversity, capitalizes on the emerging global trends and technologies to maintain this momentum.
During the 2023 Council of the America’s Symposium, held on October 20 at the University of Miami’s Lakeside Village, over 400 top-executives looked into these global trends manifested across intersecting industries, looking to generate collective insight and harness the power of the Latin American region.
