Dive Into A Magical Underwater Adventure

Aquarium at the Boardwalk captures the wonder of the ocean and connects you with sea life in a beautiful and intimate way.

The journey begins on a classic boardwalk where you’ll encounter puffer fish, queen angelfish, a GPO (Giant Pacific Octopus), and many more coral reef species. Be sure to take in the charming fish-forward setting and enjoy the seahorse carousel photo op, fortune telling clam (a.k.a. The Great Clambino), and the “Puffer-Pucker” contest. All of this occurs on your way to the Submarine Adventure, a 5D ride that takes you to the bottom of the ocean. Be on the lookout for friendly fish who sometimes take visitors off-course to dock at an underwater lookout station. That’s right, the rest of your journey is spent exploring the ocean from the inside, as you make your way back up to the surface through 10 zones of fish & fun!

Take your time to observe the fantastical worlds beneath the sea while experiencing the interactions of more than 250 species and 7,200 individual fish.

Director of Husbandry, Steve Bitter, says, “We wanted to have as many animal species as possible, but we had to make sure they could all live together in harmony for their entire lives. Tropical reef fish have much more complex social lives than we give them credit for, so we had to select fish that wouldn’t push each other around for territory, compete for food, or try to eat one another. The result is a terrific aquatic community that allows our Guests to get up close and observe our fish’s habits and behaviors.”

In fact, you’ll find yourself surrounded by several species of sharks, swirling sardines, elegant rays, adorable seahorses, an infinite jelly bloom, a beautiful, rescued sea turtle, and so much more. Petting sharks, stingrays, anemones, and starfish is another highlight of the experience.

The Branson Scenic Railway!

Enjoy a fun and relaxing journey through beautiful Ozark Mountain Country aboard the Branson Scenic Railway. This unique and classic attraction combines history with the sights of the backwoods of the Ozark foothills, creating an unforgettable experience for all ages!

The Branson Scenic Railway features refurbished vintage, stainless-steel passenger coaches and Vista Dome railcars from the 1940’s and 1950’s. Large windows in the train cars and in the dome cars offer panoramic views of the surrounding terrain and ruins of long forgotten communities.

The train departs from the historic 1905 depot in downtown Branson and embarks on one of two different excursions. Each trip lasts just under two hours, taking passengers 20 miles from Branson, through long tunnels and over high trestles, before reversing directions and returning on the same track. Enlightening narration points out various landmarks and describes the railroad’s role in shaping the Ozarks. Because the Branson Scenic Railway operates on a working railroad, the route the train travels is set just prior to departure by the Missouri and Northern Arkansas Railroad.

Train seating is open on regular excursions, leaving you free to explore each of the different cars. The comfortable, climatecontrolled coaches have all been restored, giving the passenger the same experience that was offered 50 years ago.

For the ultimate in nostalgic train experiences, Branson Scenic Railway features a four-course candlelight meal on their Saturday Dinner Train. Meals include your selection of Beef, Roasted Chicken or Fish and are accompanied by an appetizer, salad, vegetable, dessert and beverage. The Saturday Dinner Train departs at 5 p.m. each Saturday evening, April through October.

An Animal Attraction Like You’ve Never Experienced Before

Get right up close and face to face with some of nature’s most fascinating and deadly creatures!

Branson’s Wild World is home to over 400 species including sharks, stingrays and giant sea turtles plus tank after tank of brilliantly colored salt water fish.
