About the HBCU Philanthropy Symposium The HBCU Philanthropy Symposium is now in its 8th year. The purpose of the symposium is to facilitate a holistic discussion specifically about philanthropy as it relates to HBCUs and minority institutions. The HBCU Philanthropy Symposium brings together Institutional Advancement leaders and professionals from HBCUs and other minority serving institutions to discuss common challenges and solutions. Unlike many other conferences, the symposium is solely planned with development and philanthropy in mind.

WHO The HBCU Philanthropy Symposium historically attracts a diverse group of decision-makers, including Vice Presidents, Chancellors, and Directors. Businesses with services and products that will help the philanthropic efforts of Development officers are encouraged to support the symposium through a sponsorship.
