ompetition is one of the biggest challenges for a small business such as Mickey’s. Within a 4-mile radius, we have eight national competitors who advertise nationwide on television and radio. Obviously we cannot afford to do that, but we have other things that set us apart. Our bread is baked fresh daily in house
and we slice our vegetables daily. We choose quality products over price; we help our customers by making suggestions on what goes best with what and suggest different combinations that aren’t necessarily the norm. We try to give our customers the personalized service they don’t get anywhere else. By far our favorite part of the business is our interaction with our customers. It is so much fun going to work and knowing that you will be able to laugh
and talk with customers. We are also proud of the community we live in and operate our business in and do our best to support the local charities that we find near and dear to our hearts. The most important things to us at Mickey’s is treating our employees fairly and giving our customers the best quality food and service in the area.
