Brahman Perera approaches interior design as a pursuit in experiential beauty and purpose. Applying his own lens through years of experience to compose natural textures, rich colour pairings and sculptural gestures, Perera produces compelling spaces layered with personal touches, developing projects with unique character, sentiment and authenticity. Empathic by nature, Brahman connects with his clients’ identities and harnesses design as an act of storytelling.

A member of the Design Institute of Australia, and winner of 2022 Interior Design Excellence Awards (IDEA), Australian Interior Design Awards and Belle Fanuli Awards, and shortlisted for 2024 IDEA Designer of the Year, Perera has over 10 years of experience working with clients, architects, project managers, and town planners.

STAGE ONE

Concept Development

The concept will establish the overall 'look and feel' for the project. This stage will develop a unique design approach in response to the brief.

·Design approach with precedent imagery.

·Design drawings: general arrangement plan(s) showing proposed layouts with relevant furniture and joinery arrangements.

·Proposed selection of lighting and furniture with trade pricing.

Proposed selection of finishes and fixtures.

Concept presentation meeting, with one round of feedback and revisions.

STAGE TWO

Design Development

Design Development documentation is representative of design intent and construction methodology and is subject ot builder and joiner review.

·Drawings to capture design intent; general arrangement plan(s) including setout, RCP and electrical as applicable.

Elevations and Sections as applicable.

Joinery details for design intent as applicable.

Finishes and lighting schedules.

·Visualisation styling package and coordination.

STAGE THREE

Furniture and Styling

·Proposed selection of additional lighting, furniture, art & styling including trade pricing where applicable.

·Proposed finishes for all items.

Concept presentation meeting with one round of feedback and revisions. Invoices with trade pricing for all approved items.
