Preliminary Design
Once we gather the information from phase one, we can transform conceptual ideas into a visual reality. Taking measurements of the project space will allow us to make the appropriate material selections and specifications to complete your construction documents. These documents will be vital for construction purposes and will enable clients to view project details. A deposit is required before the start of phase two, total deposit determined by project scope and projected design hours.
Construction Documents
Our goal for phase three is to provide our clients with a complete set of construction documents, including plans, elevations, 3D renderings, and material selections. For those whose project is strictly furnishing design, a detailed floor plan and mood boards will be provided during this time.
Construction Oversight
We pride ourselves on bridging the communication gap between contractors and clients. With our industry expertise, we can ensure that the project remains on track with job site visits and comprehensive updates during meetings.
Furnishing Design
Our goal for phase five is to select pieces that enhance the space’s aesthetic. With our exclusive trade partnerships, we are able to provide one-of-a-kind fabrication, silhouettes, and color palettes to ensure your home truly has a custom touch--from furniture, bedding, rugs, and everything in between.
Installation & Final Touch
Lastly, we come to the end of your project--adding final touches and installing design components. Styling for the final client unveiling and possible photoshoot are completed during this phase. Although we prefer to document the completion of projects professionally, clients may deny access to the space for media purposes if they so wish.
Once complete, our team of experts remain available for any future inquiries and requests at our hourly rate.
PORTFOLIO
Creating and showcasing your unique space is one of the most rewarding parts of the project process. We invite you to look at the following projects to gain an understanding of the extent of work Bradshaw Designs has taken on with previous clients. Our portfolio spans kitchens, baths, living rooms, and laundry rooms. For more information on projects and a detailed portfolio listing, please visit our website.
Below details the average construction cost for select spaces. Note that our design fees are billed separately and can be viewed by clicking here
Kitchen Portfolio
These kitchens are part of an award-winning collection that has been recognized for their unique and custom design--from every piece of hardware, custom cabinet design, and furniture piece. We understand the importance of this area within a home and aim to provide clients with the functionality, customization, and design aesthetic that best fits their lifestyle.
Project Insight: The main idea behind this kitchen renovation was to create a clean, modern aesthetic with a strong relationship to nature. Our clients love to cook together and needed the space to do that. The island provides additional counter space and an area to entertain guests. The clean lines and natural elements in this design compliment the views of their backyard gardens, which was a major priority for them. The white cabinetry brightens the space and allows the natural wood vent hood rim and organic blue tile backsplash to stand out.
Bath Portfolio
Baths are one of our areas of specialty, with award-winning projects recognized within the industry. They are not only a space that many begin their day in, but they are also a place of retreat and relaxation. Note that the extent of our bath projects also includes powder baths.
Project Insight: Our clients wanted to transform their primary bath into a modern oasis. With the addition of marble backsplashes and flooring, a custom floating vanity, and a floor to the ceiling storage solution, the space became the 5-star retreat they always wanted.
Living Room Portfolio
Furnishing design is the curation of pieces that bring your interior space to life, from custom-designed furniture to decorative pillows. Living rooms are one of the most requested areas for our furnishing design service.
Laundry Room Portfolio
The design of your laundry room may not seem as important or exciting as other rooms in your home. Truthfully, this space is frequently underestimated! But it serves a critical function and has just as much design potential as the rest of your home.
Project Insight: Our clients wanted to convert their study into a space that would better serve their needs, a large laundry room. Intending to maintain a balance of appeal and functionality, our team began creating the custom redesign. The new space has ample storage and unique features such as a cabinet pull-out for the family dog, an elevated washer and dryer system, and a water station.
CLIENT TESTIMONIALS
We have just completed a major renovation of our beloved Lakehouse, and Bradshaw Designs was with us from the beginning. Julie Bradshaw and her staff were listening to us describe what we were looking for and what we liked and didn’t like. And the end result is gorgeous.
-B. Hall
They listened, tried to understand our tastes, and tactfully kept us from making poor choices. They honored their timetable and budget, were extremely responsive, and kept us informed of progress. We love all five of our remodeled bathrooms and updated kitchen. We also love our new hardwood floors and modern steel and glass front door. Draperies and reupholster pieces tied together our existing furniture by giving our whole house a fresh, clean look. We highly recommend them.
-J. Blakeway
Working with Bradshaw Designs was a pleasure from start to finish. They are good listeners, have excellent ideas and resources, and are flexible in negotiating opportunities for creativity. I enjoyed the whole renovation process and would not attempt another without the Bradshaw team.
-M. Curry
We hired Bradshaw Designs to help guide us through a remodel of the central living area of our home. Their team came up with a wonderful design idea that incorporated the current wood flooring in areas of the home. We love our new floor plan. All of our friends and family who have seen it say that it looks original, not at all like a remodel. Needless to say, we were very happy with their work, ideas, and professionalism. When we are ready to tackle a new project, we will definitely call Bradshaw Designs.
