based on the analysis of one of several las vegas cirque du soleil performances, ka, the design of the building took shape. from connecting characters to building users, costume colors to architectural finishes, and the unique twisting stage system to overall building formal language ka drove the design process. by creating a system from the analysis and allowing it to create non-standard programmatic opportunities and hybrid conditions the building took on unique qualities not possible using standard design techniques.
