We have dedicated ourselves to promoting and preserving the art of fine craftsmanship. Handmade is a global craft and our goal is to work with the best artisans we can, travelling the globe with a passion for designing and sourcing the best products in the world.

Along with our love for handmade we have a desire for authenticity, we care for where our products are made, who makes them and where the materials are sourced. We care that they are made by people that need our business. The majority of products today are mass produced, while we aim to support our artisans who grew up loving product and inherited a craft; a craft which is their life. The concept of making product by hand, with the expertise that has been handed down from generation to generation is rare in our world. Attention to detail is what you are getting. Our products are unique, there will always be the personality of the artisan that lives and breathes in the products they are manufacturing. All pieces are one of a kind, when you are working with artisans things donâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;t always come out perfectly as each artisan works in different ways. It's the marks made by the artisan's hands which we believe to represent craftsmanship. What machines render perfectly an artisan renders imperfectly, and it is this signature imperfection that renders each and every Boyd Blue piece.

White Furniture Design has the experience and expertise to cater to large project work and also specialise in private label collections for our retail clients. We have successfully designed and manufactured boutique furniture for the Gold Coast’s Jupiters Hotel & Casino and Brisbane’s Treasury Casino, including club chairs for the high rollers casino lounges. We have provided seating for restaurants and bars around Australia, including the Royal Randwick Racecourse members lounge. We also regularly supply bedroom furniture and foyer pieces for five star hotel accommodation in Australia and overseas.

PROCESS

DYING Usi ng exp e rt m e th ods, dye s are created and fibers are submerged into the dye bath. Once dyed, the yarn is hung outside in the sunlight.

SPINNING Ya r n s a re sp u n b y h a n d a n d of t e n taken to villagers homes, where they create richly textured yarns stro ng e n o ugh fo r w e av i ng.

W E AV I N G Wo rk i n g s i d e b y s i d e o n t h e l o o m , artisans use traditional hand knotting and weaving techniques. Usi ng a m ap to k n ot c o nti nu o u s strands of yarn around the warp and weft, each rug has the signature print of the artisan.

WASHING The entire rug is submerged in water and laid f lat on the ground. Fresh water is poured over the rug and artisans use a paddle to remove impurities and excess yarn. Rugs are then laid in the sun to

FINISHING Hand tools are used to shave and level the rug pile, removing excess yarn and sculpting final design details. This process brings out the character in the weave and bold colour of the yarn to life.

PAYMENT Full payment must be re c eived prior to dispatch, including custom lampshade s and artwork. Orders can be paid by Dire ct Deposit, Cheque or Credit Card. Credit Card is re commended for urgent orders. Cheque and Dire ct Deposit payments are ac c epted from re c eipt of funds, not remittanc e advic e or otherwis e. Visa and Mastercard are subje ct to a 2% merchant fe e. No COD shipments are ac c epted.

FURNITURE POLISHING A 50% deposit is required on all furniture polishing jobs to commenc e work. Final payment is due prior to dispatch. Sample s must be s ent to Boyd Blue Head Offic e for matching.

DELIVERY All orders are proforma. Goods will be dispatched on re c eipt of full payment only. Allow approximately 24-48 hours from re c eipt of payment for your order to be dispatched. Product shipping is bas ed on availability; for stock goods pleas e allow approximately one to ten days for shipping, bas ed on delivery location. Bulk orders delivered by furniture removalists may be subje ct to longer leadtime s. All orders are shipped FOB from our Gold Coast, Que ensland warehous e with freight added to the invoic e. Freight is an additional charge to be incurred by the purchas er. Unle ss an order is to be colle cted from our warehous e, freight is applicable on all orders and Boyd Blue will determine the appropriate shipping mode and

CANCELLATIONS Canc ellations and amendments can only be ac c epted before payment is re c eived. We do not issue refunds. Order canc ellations that are made after re c eipt of payment will incur a 20% handling fe e of entire order value. Canc ellations are not ac c epted for already dispatched orders.

DAMAGES & SHORTAGES Boyd Blue inspe cts and carefully packs your order before shipping, with every effort made to ensure it arrive s in the be st possible condition. All shipments should be inspe cted immediately on arrival, with all exc eptions noted on the delivery re c eipt at time of delivery by the carrier. Important: All claims for damage and or shortage must be made within 24 hours of rece ipt of the merchandise. Digital photographs of damaged goods and boxe s will be required for possible replac ement of damaged goods. Save all damaged cartons until any claim with the carrier is s ettled.

RETURNS/REFUNDS/ EXCHANGES We do not issue refunds or exchange s. Only faulty or damaged goods may be returned and are subje ct to authorisation at Boyd Blue's dis cretion. Boyd products are handmade and as such there may be slight variations in colour, shape, texture, grain or otherwis e. This is considered a unique feature of each individual pie c e and items cannot be returned for this reason.
