ABSTRACT DESIGN
This academic project was produced the first year in college. By applying the teachings of Gestalt Principles and Elements of Design, this project showcase the knowledge behind the terminologies and the craft to create it.
Yin and Yang was a huge inspiration behind this project. By stripping back Yin and Yang to the basic fundamentals of Elements and Principles of design, the Concavity and Convexity project transformed Yin and Yang to a whole new design.

Going from a student at Appalachian State University to my first professional job at BSB Design, INC, I’ve dived into design with hopes of creating things to help others. I was first introduced to design at the age of 13 developing skills in traditional hand-drafting, AutoCAD, and model making. Design is not just about how to create pretty things. It’s about the experience, the environment, and the functionality. I hope to be able to shape other lives with this career. With great work ethic and passion, I’m ready to tackle any design challenge.
