imbal Musk and Jen Lewin opened their now famous and beloved restaurant, The Kitchen, in 2002. From the very beginning, according to its website, this fine dining establishment operated under a simple philosophy: “We believe that gathering around the table and sharing good food and drink is what connects us as family, friends and a community. It’s the essence of ‘Community Through Food.’” And now more than ever, “good food” means organic food. The Kitchen sources as much of its food as possible locally, taking great care to use the best organic ingredients available.
