BREATH IN CHERNOBYL
Resonance of emaciated beauty! Man doesn't intend to dwell in where living conditions are hard or tough. Chernobyl's also one of such hardtolive sites. Despite that, its natives have returned here to their hometown for their roots. Such indefatigable tenacity even in its unwelcoming environment has been highlighted by artist Sungtae Jung from Republic of Korea. I discovered that his photos contain beauty associated even with decaying. His photos reflect loftiness and ardor of Chernobyl denizens (Samosely) and his fervor in shooting it. I hope, this exhibition will be able to sympathize with the painful memory that Chernobyl couldn't but suffer from the accident, and bring closer friendship between us Ukraine and Republic of Korea.

Резонанс виснаженої краси! Людина не хоче жити там, де умови для життя важкі чи небезпечні. Чорнобиль – одне з таких місць. Незважаючи на цей факт, люди, які народились в цьому місці, повернулись до свого коріння. Ця незламна наполегливість у несприятливому середовищі була висвітлена фотохудожником з Республіки Корея. На його фотографіях – благородство та ентузіазм чорнобильців, а також його натхненне бажання відобразити це. Я маю надію, що ця виставка зможе передати щирі співчуття корейців постраждалому Чорнобилю та внесе позитивний вклад у дружні відносини між нашими державами – Україною та Республікою Корея.
