A cemented version • Stems for cementing are made in forged stainless steel (ISO 5832-9). Their brilliant polished appearance removes the constraint of shearing at the bone/cement interface.
• La lateralización obtenida por una traslación
del cuello femoral, permite conservar el mismo ángulo cérvico-diafisario de 130º. • El menor dimensionado de la sección del
vástago cementado, con respecto al revestido, permite obtener un manto de 1mm de cemento utilizando la raspa de la misma talla que el implante. • Los vástagos poseen un cono 12-14 y un cuello
afinado pulido brillante, lo que va a aumentar la amplitud angular, retrasando así, el efecto palanca y evitando la luxación. Characteristics • The metaphyseal profile of the stem ensures primary stability when embedded and in torsion. The slimmed down terminal part provides positioning that does not block the diaphyseal parts of the cortex. • Secondary stability is obtained by osteogenesis activated by the hydroxyapatite coating and the colonisation of the striations by the new growth of bone. • Lateralisation obtained through a non-homothetic translation of the neck of the femur enables the same cervico-diaphyseal angle of 130° to be retained.

• The smaller dimensions of the cross-sections of cemented stems compared with coated stems enables a 1 mm coat of cement to be obtained by using a rasp of the same size as the implant.
Two coated versions
• The stems are available with a 12/14 cone and a slimmed down neck in brilliant polish that increases articulatory amplitude while postponing a cam effect and avoiding dislocation.
• Coated stems are made in a forged titanium alloy (ISO 5832-3) that provides an elasticity module closest to that of bone. A hydroxyapatite coating is sprayed on the proximal 2/3 or the entire stem.
