the economical development. Until the state doesn’t decide what it wants, the vision of tourism in BiH shall remain a rhetorical question. Still, I believe that the external pressures and global changes shall force us soon to change something finally, and that the government at all levels, and the entire economy sector will take the responsibility for creation of basic conditions of development and creation of economical incentives for sustainable development of not just the tourism, but also the entire economy, through the cooperation and institutional partnership. In the tourism sector at the Federation level, with the reform of legislature, we have started a line of
projects, among other things creation of the development strategy until the year 2018, with the goal of creation of recognizable tourist product that needs to be promoted in the tourist market. TOURISM: What is the purpose of the strategy and what are the objectives it will achieve? HERCEG: Development strategy of the tourism in the Federation of BiH starts from the analysis and the diagnosis of the tourist potentials and resource basis and it sets the general framework for the development of the tourism. With objective consideration of the existing conditions, and our possibilities in relation with the surroundings,
it represents the initial document for creation of equivalent operative plans whose implementation will realise the main strategic goal, and that is the development in the direction of high-quality destination with preservation of natural and cultural values at the same time, and equal regional development. Besides that it represents the main strategy in the creation of regional plans of the development of the tourism, this document could be one of the crucial starting points in the process of creation of national strategy of the development of the tourism.
