The Tech’s talented and hardworking team of Associate Student Body officers is dedicated to bettering the high school experience for their classmates through activities and creating bonding opportunities.. Each officer recently was asked to share a little about their role within ASB, a fun fact or favorite hobby, and explain what they’re learning about in their respective technologies at this time.

Class of 2023

Jose Alvarez (CSEE ’23) A little about what you do in your technology: In Computer Science, we work on our coding skills and in Electrical Engineering, we are building and learning about audio amplifiers. ASB Role: I am a general member as of right now and also apart of dance committee which is in charge of planning and executing our school dances. Fun fact/Favorite hobby: My favorite hobby and thing to do at the moment is run. I am part of XC and it has helped me clear my mind and also gives me a healthy challenge and goal to strive for.

Adalberto Arias (IDEA ’23) A little about what you do in your technology: Create stuff

ASB Role: Dance committee. Funfact/Favorite hobby: Building anything

Jad Ahmed Aribi (IDEA ’23) A little about what you do in your technology: Primarily make models and house ASB Role: Public Relations. Fun fact/Favorite hobby: I like sports in general

Lorenzo Benitez (MAT ’23) A little about what you do in your technology: I’m in Media Arts Technology. Here, we focus on things involved with/ related to the media, such as graphic design, photography, animation, etc. Currently, we are learning about Marketing and Business. Our current project is to make an original business plan. ASB Role: I am the Executive Public Relations of ASB. My main job is to make sure that people are getting informed on different ASB events/functions, which is done through posters mostly. Funfact/Favorite hobby:Praying and reading the Bible is something I do; it’s nice. I also like mixing songs on a DJ Controller.

Brandon Bocanegra (MAT ’23) ASB Role: Dance Committee/labor setup and design ideas. Funfact/Favorite hobby:Madden State Champion.

Jose Andres Cagungun (CSEE ’23) A little about what you do in your technology: I do coding and electronics. ASB role: I am a part of the dance committee, I help plan for the dances. Funfact/Favorite hobby: I make beats.

William Chicas (MAT ’23) A little about what you do in your technology: I am in Media Arts and Technology; we are learning the Blue Ocean Strategies of Marketing and learning supply and demand curve. ASB Role:I am the Executive Secretary, and I take notes and attendance, and have made connection with businesses for any type of school event. Fun fact/Favorite hobby: I like to play soccer.

Ephraim Joseph Enrico De La Cruz (CSEE ’23) ASB Role: Senior Class Co-President. Funfact/Favorite hobby: I love to fix and modify computers.
