INTRODUCTION We express our deep sense of gratitude to Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo HUN SEN, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, for his consent to the use his name for the country’s most popular football event “Samdech Hun Sen Cup”. The cup was first organized in 2007 and it is now in its 8th edition. Samdech Hun Sen Cup is the yearly kick off for the Cambodian football season. This Cup involves all teams around the country and their provinces and their fan base. Hun Sen Cup will be battled in six different regions in the country to bring football closer to its fans.


COMPETITION FORMAT Team representatives of each province and city throughout Cambodia must play in the Qualifying Round. 16 teams (8 teams from the Metfone Cambodian League 2013 and the 8 teams from the Qualifying Round) will play in the Final Round. The Qualifying Round is played in 6 zones: • Middle region • West region • North: North • East region • South region • Phnom Penh Total 90 matches • 58 matches at Qualifying Round • 32 matches at Final Round Start from 03 Dec 2013 to 15 February 2014 • Qualifying Round from 3rd December 2013 to 15th December 2013 • Final Round from 17th December 2013 to 15th February 2014
