“When I founded South Shore Children’s Chorus in 2016, I dreamed of creating a place where young singers could find joy, confidence, and community through music. What I could never have imagined was the incredible circle of support that would grow around this dream—our singers, families, educators, and supporters who make SSCC the vibrant, welcoming, and transformative organization it is today. As we approach our 10th anniversary season, I am overwhelmed with gratitude for each and every person who has been part of this journey.

Tonight, at our Evening of Impact, we celebrate the voices that have filled our rehearsal spaces, the friendships that have been formed, and the lives that have been changed through the power of choral singing. It is also a moment to look ahead—to ensure that SSCC continues to be a place where every child, no matter their background, can experience the magic of music. Your generosity tonight makes this possible. You are helping us keep tuition affordable, provide scholarships, and support the incredible teaching artists who inspire our singers every day. The impact of your support reaches far beyond tonight—it helps shape the future of SSCC and the young musicians who call it home. From the bottom of my heart, thank you. OUR MISSION

The mission of the South Shore Children’s Chorus is to provide audition-free musical education and quality vocal training to students living in the South Shore communities and beyond. SSCC keeps the development and well-being of our students as our top priority, and aims to create a safe space and loving community for choristers to learn, to grow, and to find their own voice.

SSCC welcomes singers in grades K-12, and is passionate about offering the experience of learning to use their voice to any child, regardless of financial situation or prior experience.
