THE JIM CLARK TRUST The Jim Clark Trust is dedicated to promoting the inspiration of Jim Clark. It is a charity run by the relatives of the Clark family, dating back to when the original Jim Clark room opened in 1969, who in partnership with Live Borders and Scottish Borders Council helped develop the Jim Clark Motorsport Museum. Jim Clark is widely regarded as one of the greatest racing drivers of all time, admired for his remarkable achievements and famous for his modesty. He dominated world motor racing like no one before or since, in all types of motorsport, winning 25 Grands Prix, with 33 pole positions from 72 starts. His tragic death at Hockenheim in 1968 stunned the world and redefined the future Formula One with a greater emphasis on safety, led by his close friend and the Trust’s Honorary President, Sir Jackie Stewart. Jim Clark was a farmer at heart from the Scottish Borders who became an international sporting hero and inspired a generation. His story transcends time and sport. www.jimclarktrust.com info@jimclarktrust.com The Jim Clark Café Bistro Visitors to the museum are welcome at the Jim Clark Registered charity: SC046092 Café Bistro in Duns Town Square, to enjoy a delicious meal using locally-sourced produce from the Scottish Borders, or tea, coffee and home baked scones or cakes – highly recommended! www.jimclarktrust.com info@jimclarktrust.com
