THE Scottish Borders is a region of unspoilt beauty and the gateway to Scotland. It is an area of contrasts, with moorland and gently rolling hills in the West giving way to rich agricultural lands and the rocky Berwickshire coastline in the East. Through the heart of the region flows the river Tweed, providing magnificent views and some of the best fishing in Scotland. The idyllic setting of the Scottish Borders offers superb opportunities for a wide range of sporting and leisure pursuits and attracts golf, cycling, fishing, and walking enthusiasts. This once fierce frontier land has many castles, abbeys and stately homes which remain a poignant reminder of a more turbulent past. Today the Borders is more famous for the friendliest of welcomes, along with a reputation for producing some of the finest textiles in the world.
Scottish Borders Campus in Galashiels is the main Borders College site. The unique combination of an academic environment surrounded by some of the most beautiful countryside in Britain makes Scottish Borders Campus the ideal base for combining event activities and leisure. In recent years, we have made a significant investment in technology to enable flexible and mobile learning and provide industry-standard learning environments.
Our event spaces are perfect for everything from conferences, meetings, workshops, training seminars, exhibitions, formal dinners, or an office away day with team building activities. Whatever the occasion, Borders College can provide you with comprehensive modern facilities, with the flexibility to suit your requirements. Prices on request.
