Our Journey
From starting in 1989 as Booth Welsh Associates, with just two employees providing recruitment services to the energy sectors to growing into a fully integrated engineering services business across multiple industries with a workforce of over 300 people. Booth Welsh is incredibly proud of our journey over these past three decades. Take a look below at some of our highlights:
Panel Building Added
In 1991 Booth Welsh diversified into two areas: 1 – Panel Building and 2 – Field Installation.
Digital Technology/ Remote I/O threatens to reduce our scope, we invest in Control Systems.
Process Engineering
We increase our portfolio by adding a Process ability and growing a Process Engineering Team and also had a management buyout. Control Systems
Joined Clough Business acquired for it’s Technology by Australian Engineering Business Clough and relocated our HQ, after 25 years, to New Irvine Facility.
Developing Digital Products
Booth Welsh started providing innovative solutions by utilising the latest digital technology increasing operational benefits.
Booth Welsh joined the Net Zero Nation Accelerator program, obtaining carbon accounts, certification, and a robust carbon reduction plan. 2023

At Booth Welsh, we understand that sometimes you need a little pick-me-up to power through the workday. That is why we offer Cafe Zero at Head Office, a free coffee barista style service available to all of our employees.
Cafe Zero provides a variety of high-quality beverages, including lattes, cappuccinos, espressos, and hot chocolate, all made with our espresso machine. Whether you need a morning jolt or a mid-afternoon boost, our baristas at the reception are always happy to make your perfect cup of coffee or tea.
Our hotdesking area in the main engineering offices is a shared workspace where employees can choose to work from any available desk on a first-come, first-served basis. This allows for greater flexibility and encourages collaboration among team members.
Collaborative Working Space
Our collaborative working space is a dedicated area designed for group projects, brainstorming sessions, or individual work that requires a change of scenery. The booths provide a comfortable and private space for focused work, while the window seat offers a scenic view and natural lighting. This space is not bookable.
Meeting Rooms
In addition to our hotdesking and collaborative working spaces, we also have bookable meeting rooms throughout the office. These rooms are equipped with everything you need for a successful meeting, including video conferencing equipment, whiteboards, and comfortable seating.
The gym

As part of our commitment to promoting a healthy and active lifestyle, we provide a fully equipped onsite Gym at our Head Office for all employees to utilise. Our meeting rooms can be booked in advance using Outlook. Please respect the booking times and be prompt in vacating the space when your time is up. We ask that you clean up after yourself and leave the room in the same condition as you found it.

Gym Induction
Before accessing the onsite Gym, all employees are required to complete a gym induction. The induction process ensures that everyone is aware of the proper usage of equipment, safety procedures, and general guidelines for maintaining a safe and clean environment. The gym induction can be conveniently completed online, allowing employees to familiarise themselves with the facility at their own pace.

Each employee will receive information about their holiday entitlement in their Statement of Terms and Conditions of Employment. Your holiday entitlement is determined based on factors such as your employment contract, length of service, and any applicable legal requirements.
Holiday Year
Our holiday year runs from January to December. During this period, you are encouraged to plan and utilise your allocated vacation days effectively. By aligning our holiday year with the calendar year, we aim to provide clarity and consistency for all employees regarding their holiday entitlements and planning.
Requesting Time Off
When you wish to take time off, whether for a vacation, personal reasons, or any other approved absence, please follow the designated process outlined in our internal policies. This involves submitting a time-off request through our Holiday Scheduler desktop app or communicating with your line manager.
