As it embarks on the year-long celebration of its golden anniversary, we join with the communities of Parma, Parma Heights and Seven Hills in celebrating Parma Community General Hospital’s many achievements and look forward with anticipation to the next 50 years of medical milestones.

But milestones haven’t been limited to the medical community alone. The Parma City School district extends its reach to nearly 12,000 students in 18 schools across three communities. A combination of outstanding leadership and dedicated parents has helped to elevate the district to a well-deserved rating of “excellent.� Part of the reason stems from high school career programs offered in partnership with Cuyahoga Community College’s Western Campus. Students are afforded a seamless four-year education that culminates in the awarding of an associate’s degree.
