Alison Smith Every moment in time - whether the birth of a person, an event or a business - has a unique map of the stars for that moment.

hink of it as looking at the sky at a particular moment and seeing all of the stars. Then consider the sheer infinity of our universe and how, when we open our minds, we can see the wondrous infinite possibilities of us! Have you ever wondered about how your ancestors watched the stars and why? The ‘why’ is more important than the ‘ways’! For starters, the movement of the Sun changing the seasons and the Moon offering a rhythm to the pull of gravity on the water table gave an accurate agricultural calendar. And so, observing the movements of planetary bodies in the sky was a useful tool. All stars, planets, and asteroids move at different times and in different orbits. This means the patterns they make are always entirely different and unique. Just pause here for a moment and consider … No pattern of stars repeats … every moment in our universe is different. Take a look at the night sky and the sheer enormity, infinity, potential and depth displayed by the stars and planets. And, just as we are aware of the Moon’s effect on gravity, so it follows that other planetary energy
may very well be available for our use as well – more on this later! Our ancestors watched the patterns and cycles of the Moon and the Sun to gauge the time passing. In addition, sailors navigated by the stars. We know that the lunar cycles affect our oceans and tides. And, as we consist of a large percentage of water, it is not such a great leap of logic to understand the connection between the Moon and our bodies … and then the other planets. So how is this valuable information for our businesses or our daily lives? Your business had a defining moment when it arrived! It may be the date of registration, or perhaps you know the actual date that idea took root in your mind. The map of the stars (chart) for that moment can help you plot your way forward, just as Kings and Queens used astrology when planning their coronations or battles in times gone by! Even without knowing the intricacies of a date to start your business, you can tap into the amazing energy that the universe has available. I mean … why not try it?

A cycle that we know takes place approximately every 28 days, as the Moon travels around the complete zodiac, touching every sign. The stages are: • New Moon - something begins … • Waxing Moon - development and growth • Full Moon - celebrating achievements • Waning Moon - polish and hone, refine and consider. • New Moon … Ponder as you look at the night sky and the planets - by looking at the sky, we become aware of the possibilities for us all.
