Best Day at the Zoo - Preview

Skye and Rey are the best of best friends. As sister-brother twins, their friendship will never end. They are different as people in their own ways. Important to them as they go about their days.

They are like many children their age, having fun. Like so many, their life journey has just begun. They both have dreams and plans to make it to the top. So their dreams keep on going, and they will not stop.

Skye’s a dreamer, a saver, and good spender, too. Rey’s a go-getter. Together, their plans come true. They both budget their money and make lists to-do. One of their plans with friends is to go to the zoo.

But how could they earn money? If only they knew. Maybe they could plant flowers if shown what to do. So off to the youth garden. New skills they would learn. They would plant flowers for money that they would earn.

With their new skills, Skye and Rey were eager to go. For the Cruz’s, they planted red blooms in a row. Mister Smith asked for yellow ones in a big pot. They were ready for the zoo. They had earned a lot.

They have saved for this day, and this day is now here. It is one of their dreams, as their dreams are so clear. On this special day, all children get in for free. They’re so excited and not sure what they will see.

On that day, from their banks, they took money for treats. Yes, some money would be fine for something to eat. If not spent, then some coins would go back to their banks. Up to them on the choice made and how it would rank.
