Over the years, BOMA Toronto has been active in protecting and advancing the interests of its members on important policy issues such as energy pricing and supply, property taxes, labour requirements, building materials and equipment regulations.

PRINCIPAL (PR)

(Voting Member) Shall be individuals or companies who are actively involved in the ownership, trading or management of buildings in excess of 25,000 square feet.

YOUNG PROFESSIONAL (YP)

(Voting Member) Shall be individuals 35 years of age and under who are employed by an owner/manager firm. A Young Professional shall enjoy all the benefits of membership.

ALLIED (AL)

(Voting Member) Shall be individuals or companies who supply goods or services, materials, equipment or systems to the commercial real estate property industry; or provide a professional or consulting service to the industry as the board may from time to time deem appropriate for the category. Each Allied company will be limited to two (2) membership places only.

AFFILIATE (AF)

(Non-Voting Member) Shall be individuals who are employed by an organization having an interest in BOMA’s business and operations, but who are not directly involved in the management of real estate or the sale of goods and services to the industry. There shall be no limit to the number of affiliate members with an organization.

NOTE: All memberships are held by the individual named, but are owned by the member organization and cannot be transferred to another organization.

OPTIONAL: Canadian Member-At-Large (CMAL) membership entitles members to receive the BOMA International Magazine as well as preferred rates on the Experience Exchange Report, BOMA publications, on-line seminars, and at the annual BOMA International North American Commercial Real Estate Conference (Applicable Fee).

2022 Education & Events Schedule

Our education program is an integral component of our value proposition and has been designed to drive operational excellence and enrich professional development. Topics have been thoughtfully selected by the Education Committee to reflect the evolving needs of the CRE Industry. Sessions have been organized into 8 distinct themes; topics cover salient aspects of building operations, regulatory, technology, and support a postCOVID recovery and decarbonization strategies.

We intend to livestream some of our in-person education sessions. The delivery format will be confirmed closer to each education session date.
