Welcome to the Next Level It’s an amazing time to join Bolton College where the new Gold Standard in advanced technical education, the new T Level qualifications, have been offered from 2021. T Levels are new technical qualifications which are equivalent to three A Levels. These two-year courses have been developed in collaboration with employers and businesses to ensure that the content meets the needs of industry and prepares you for work. T Levels have the great advantage of enabling you to apply what you learn in the classroom in an ‘on-the-job’ industry placement, which will make up 20% of your course. The T Level provides knowledge, experience and business links to open the door into skilled employment, degree education and higher Apprenticeships. The Industry Placement is at the heart of the T Level and you will need a real commitment to succeed in the workplace if you choose this course.
