In September, Bolles Assistant Head of Upper School and anatomy teacher Piper Moyer-Shad ’91 demonstrated the capabilities of the innovative table to members of the Ribault Group comprised primarily of Bolles alums who are leaders in the Jacksonville community.

Dear Bolles Community,

What an extraordinary year of giving it has been for The Bolles School. As we reflect on our recent work and get energized about the exciting opportunities ahead, we remain grateful for the enduring spirit of generosity and commitment that defines our Bolles family. Your support not only advances our mission today — it sustains the very foundation upon which our School was built nearly 100 years ago: a tradition of pursuing excellence through courage, integrity and compassion.

Thanks to this dedication and the vision of generous donors like you, transformative projects are underway across all four of our campuses. From academic programming and faculty enrichment to campus facility upgrades and student-centered experiences, these donor-funded initiatives are shaping a learning environment that prepares Bolles students of every age to be successful and experienced global citizens.

We are also proud to share our Endowment has doubled in recent years. In 2012, the Endowment stood at $11.6 million. Today, thanks to more than $17 million in donor contributions and $14.7 million in investment gains, it has reached $34.4 million. This remarkable achievement reflects a growing belief in our institutional strength and reinforces Bolles’ position as a leader among independent schools.

Advancing this momentum is our highest priority — Bolles’ size and prestige requires it! We encourage all members of the Bolles community to consider ways they can perpetuate their own values by supporting the school with a legacy mindset. This means approaching philanthropy with a vision of The Bolles School’s future, designing a lasting impact and making good on it today. Planned giving, endowments and estate gifts are just a few ways to preserve Bolles’ legacy of excellence — and to make it personal!

Thank you for your partnership in this meaningful work. Together, we are stewarding a tradition that ensures an All Things Possible future for every Bolles student.

With gratitude,

In addition to an artificial turf field with a Bulldog logo, students enjoyed new slides, swings and tricycle track along with a large canopy to protect the little Bulldogs from the sun. CLASS ENDOWMENTS

TOGETHER WE ARE BUILDING A LEGACY.

Did you know? Each alumni class now has an opportunity to make history and build on the Bolles legacy by creating a Class Endowment. Parents, families and friends can also create or contribute to a Class Endowment for their students at any grade level. It’s an exciting chance to make a difference for generations to come. Year after year, for new opportunities and critical needs alike, your Class Endowment will provide vitally important funds when Bolles needs them most.

Thank you to the Classes of 1972, 2000, 2023, 2024 and 2025 who have already established a fullyfunded Class Endowment to support the School’s continued pursuit of excellence in all areas of student life!

In addition to supporting The Bolles School, each class that establishes an Endowment (named for their class) will also enjoy:

Q Recognition of your class year on a plaque located in historic Bolles Hall

Q Recognition at Homecoming and Alumni Reunion Weekend

Q Being featured on the Bolles website and Alumni+ portal

Q Knowing that your class has come together to make your own distinct and collective mark on The Bolles School community in perpetuity.

“As a member of the Class of 2025, this endowment is my way of ensuring future Bolles students continue to have the same support and belonging that helped me grow. Bolles has given me so many opportunities, unforgettable experiences, and close friendships that I will treasure forever.”

— Sarah Park ’25 Class Valedictorian (pictured above right)

“I chose to be a part of the Class of 2000 endowment because I believe in the power a Bolles education has to transform lives. Rather than a one-time gift, I was able to join other classmates and create a legacy. By supporting class endowments, we are not just giving back to the School now but also helping to make a positive impact on future Bolles students and their families.”

— Justin Hart ’00 Bolles Alumni Board member

Endowments

SUPPORTING THE BOLLES SCHOOL THROUGH AN ENDOWMENT.

In addition to Class Endowments, there are many other opportunities to support The Bolles School today as well as in the future. A Bolles Endowment will provide funding and support in perpetuity for our beloved School, just as your gift will be recognized and honored forever.

Did you know?

Q Bolles currently has 148 named endowments with a value of over $35.2 million. To be aligned with our peer institutions in longevity and sustainability, The Bolles School should have an endowment of at least $168 million.

Q A Bolles Endowment may be established with a minimum total contribution of $50,000 by a one-time gift, a pledge over multiple years or through cumulative gifts from classmates, friends and families contributing different amounts in accordance with their philanthropic abilities.

Q Whether donors create a new endowment or wish to support an existing one, they will become a permanent part of Bolles history.

Q Every donor to a Bolles Endowment fund will receive an informative report each year detailing the Endowment’s growth and its significance to the School.

To learn more about existing Endowment opportunities or to discuss creating your own, contact a member of the Advancement team today.

“Cross country running is a great team sport and a fitting metaphor for life. A key part of the Bolles XC program’s success over the years is providing runners unique opportunities in both training and racing that help inspire excellence in each team member. We are excited and proud to create an endowment to support the Bolles XC program and help continue these unique traditions and opportunities for participants now and into the future.”

— Jay Moore

Current parents and Culture of Philanthropy members Jay Moore and wife, Laura, on their family’s creation of the Moore Family Endowment to support the Boys’ Cross Country program.

“As parents, we’ve seen firsthand the impact of the Learning Resource Center on the Bartram Campus. The support they give is transformational — not just academically, but in confidence and independence. The Learning Resource team has helped build essential foundational skills like organization, reading strategies and time management. These tools have not only supported classroom success but also encouraged a love of learning. The individualized attention and encouragement reflect the heart of the Bolles mission — providing an exceptional, student-centered education that nurtures the whole child. We’re so grateful for a school community that recognizes every learner’s potential and empowers them to grow into capable, compassionate and resilient individuals. Bolles truly partners with families to prepare students for life, both in and out of the classroom.”

— Amanda & Scott Soltau

In February, current parents and Culture of Philanthropy members Scott and Amanda Soltau joined President and Head of School Tyler Hodges during the Sustainer’s Circle Luncheon at the Epping Forest Yacht Club. The Soltau family was recognized for their creation of the Bartram Learning Center Endowed Fund designed to support the needs and advancement of the Learning Resource Center on the Middle School Bartram Campus.
