Some video games help people talk to friends far and wide, some people don’t have access to video games or have video games and no internet connection. Video games can bring people together and tear people apart but for me it brings me and my friends together. Video games have to be coded for people to play it on a disc, game card, or to be downloaded from the internet. The coding allows people to play with other people at a similar XP (player experience level) level. It also allows people to play the same games as others allowing them to compete or play together as a team. This allows people to build friendships or a competitive relationship . Video games are forms of entertainment and sometimes they are not just video games. They can be people’s only link to other people especially when they are living in a pandemic. During the pandemic many people have not been able to go to school or participate in other activities everyone is used to doing. It can be very lonely. The video games give a place for people to talk and play together as if they were sitting in the same room.

You could play them on a phone (this is where the apps are), computer, or a console. Many video games have their own apps. Apps take longer to code so not all apps have the same amount of stuff to do. The apps take more coding and have to take up less space than a video game. This causes the apps to have less features than the video games do. There are different ways to play video games. Playing on the actual games and not an app allows people to do more stuff than in the apps.

Every minute you play a game you are using data. Data is information transported over the internet. The data is how you communicate and play with other people. It is also how people access email, pictures, and things like tic toc. Video games can get competitive. If you don’t have enough data or fast enough internet it can cause lag and serious issues with
