SWIMMING SUMMER RECREATIONAL SWIM TEAM
Summer Recreational Swim Team is open to all youth ages 5-18 who are NOT year-round competitive swimmers (swimmers who participate in organized competitive swimming between January 1 and May 31 are not eligible for this league). Improve your swimming skills and enjoy fun, competitive meets between other city and private pool teams. Participants must be able to already swim 25 yards prior to the first practice. Swimmers will compete based on the age that they are as of June 1st. Coaches will train participants in basics swimming skills. Specific practice times will be decided by age group by the coach. Natatorium and Lowell Swim Teams will be competing together as a team at swim meets. Practices will still be held at individual sites with a Head Coach overseeing both teams and qualified assistants at each facility. Practice Schedule – Practice begins June 4th. No meets will be held the week of July 4th, however, practices are still scheduled Monday, July 1st and Tuesday July 2nd. Actual 30-60 minute practice sessions within the time frames listed below will be determined according to participant age breakdown for each team. Typically, older age group participants swim at the earlier time and younger age group participants, 10 and under, swim during the later time. Details for each team are available online, or at the specific sites June 3rd. Championship swim meet is 7/19 & 7/20. Fees: Resident:$90.00 Nonresident: $138.95
