After which time a charge of $5/day will be in effect until pick up. Bulls staying at WLB will be at the buyers risk.

Semen interest: We reserve the right to collect semen for in herd use on any of the bulls listed in this catalogue. If we choose to collect one of these bulls it will be done at a time that will not interfere with your breeding program.

Certificate of Registrations: Buyers will receive a properly transferred certificate of registration for their purchase.

Semen testing:All bulls will have been semen evaluated by an accredited veterinarian. A few bulls may be declared decision deferred at the time of evaluation and will need retesting. If you have cows to breed in the near future, do not buy a decision deferred bull. Retesting will be done at an appropriate time as decided by our veterinarian.

Colour and Polled Test Any test results regarding polledness and colour have been noted as either homozygous or heterozygous. Please note not all bulls were DNA tested

Breeding guarantee: All bulls sell carrying the standard breeding guarantee specified by the CSA. However in the event a settlement is necessary a full refund of the purchase price will be made if your valid claim is made within six months of this sale. After that time any necessary settlement will be given as credit. At no time shall the seller’s liability exceed the purchase price of the animal.

Vaccinations: All bulls are on an approved vaccination program using Express 5/Somnugen, a modified live vaccine.

Exchange rate: The US/Canadian exchange rate will be announced prior to the sale.

Delivery to U.S. We will be happy to assist with the paperwork and getting your purchases across the border. In order to cover the cost of veterinarian, U.S. Customs and brokerage charges: U.S. buyers will pay these costs in the amount of $350 US per animal at time of settlement. WLB will then cover any additional costs above this amount including trucking to the U.S. port of entry at Dunseith, ND. This charge is based upon the assumption that all U.S. bound bulls will cross the border in one shipment.

U.S. bulls remaining at WLB due to late payment will be charged all additional export cost and any additional examinations by the veterinarian. Trucking from the U.S. port of entry, Dunseith, ND, to the buyer’s final destination will be the responsibility and expense of the buyer unless other arrangements have been made.

Announcements: All announcements from the auction block will take precedence over the printed matter in this catalogue. Buyers are urged to stay attentive for such announcements during the sale.

So it’s a very strong statement when those same visitors unanimously say that Lot One is their favorite. His natural presence is visible from sun up till sun down. His young dam is one of three productive Bert’s NR females we have at WLB. All three have sons in this sale. His sire, Blockbuster, was our $56,000 pick out of the 2017 LFE Bull Sale. Now with Blockbuster’s second calf crop almost all on the ground we feel he was indeed a very wise choice! The Blockbuster color and look is highly recognizable in his calves, just as his muscle and presence is visible in his sons that are available to you in this sale.

Lot The Blockbuster stamp is very evident in this dark red herd bull! His balance of depth from front to back is something I would like to put in all my bulls.

You will see us increase the Blockbuster/47Y cross a bunch in the next couple of years .We haven’t had a bad one yet with that match up. 461F is long spined and full of muscle. His maturity has really given him an authentic herd bull look.

We seriously considered keeping a Game On son to walk here at WLB, since we lost him this past summer. This would have been the guy. He’s deep sided, big ribbed, smooth shouldered, very desirable in his muscle shape, and his dam side would have been very workable with our cowherd’s genetic bank. Wilf Davis selected his dam for us out of Perkins consignment to the Pembina Triangle Sale. His dam has proven she has what it takes to qualify as a herd bull producer. He deserves serious consideration by all cattle producers. In addition to his physical attributes he compiles some pretty nice EPDs that put him in the top 20% or higher in his productive traits.

His wide square base is topped up with a loads of round muscle .He has an ideal rib carriage hanging off his spine. In spite of all his mass and barrel he moves with out hesitation.
