TERMS: The terms of the sale are cash, cheque, and wire transfers, payable at par at the sale location unless satisfactory payment arrangements have been made prior to the sale with seller, buyer and Bohrson Marketing Services. Bohrson Marketing Services reserves the right to require a certified cheque as settlement before releasing any sale cattle. Payment in full must be made before cattle can be released and shipped. Exchange rates will be announced sale day and the sale will be held in Canadian funds. BIDDING: All animals to sell through the sale must be sold by auction with each animal selling to the highest bidder. Private sales will not be allowed except as otherwise provided for in the terms and conditions. No by-bidding will be permitted. DISPUTES: In cases of disputes, bidding will be reopened between the parties involved in the dispute. If no further bid is made, the buyer will be the person from whom the auctioneer accepted the last bid and the auctioneer’s decision will be final. ANNOUNCEMENTS: Any announcement from the auction block will take precedence over the printed matter in the catalogue. Buyers are therefore cautioned to pay attention to any such announcements. LIABILITIES: All persons attend the sale at the their own risk. CERTIFICATE OF REGISTRY: A registration certificate issued by the applicable breed association and a certificate of registry duly transferred will be furnished to the buyer of each animal after final payment has been made.

Well as they say when one chapter closes another opens. With that we have decided to sell our Full Fleckvieh herdsire Disco. As we just are in the building of that side of our program and with retaining as many daughters as possible it’s time to give someone else the great honour of owning him. He is a bull that gives calving ease and performance. His traits of the soft deep rib, hip, good big foot, truly come thru on his calves. His first daughters are calving as this is being written and have nice udders. This is a unique opportunity to get into a PROVEN herdbull. We take pride in offering him for sale. He was the high seller in the prestigious Anchor D bull sale when we purchased him for $16,750 as a yearling. Disco will be missed here but his mark on our Fullblood program will be seen for years. I get so excited every time I walk into the bull pen and see this boy just get better and better. We unfortunately only got one calf crop from Full Flush but boy he sure left an imprint in our program. Pit Boss came in off the cow August 23 over 1000 lbs. His dam only weighed 1370 lbs. Performance is in him. Nice uddered, moderate cow that produces like crazy. Pit Boss has that look and outcross pedigree of a game changer for either the commercial or breeder.

This year we decided to offer 2 of our “Razor” daughters from a couple of our strong red cow families. Both heifers have not had special treatment and until Jan 4 were in a 10 acre field with the rest of our replacements and commercial heifers. Hairy , deep, and genetically strong. If you're looking to add an honest heifer look no further. We run our young girls very basic on a roughage diet until a month before breeding then they will get a couple pounds of grain and silage. The longevity of our females has been lengthened this way and it also sorts out the right kind. Both girls were being kept to either be sold in fall at select sales as breds or be future producers here. Mitzi & Primadonna will strengthen your herd like they would of for us.
